{ i just don't get the feeling? forget it... }
well well... haven't blogged in a long while. Just don't get the feeling or urge to do so. Maybe it's cos my life is rather in equilibrium. Cos I've got better things to do than blog haha... Nah, just kidding. To each his own.
What I meant was I was caught up in other stuff than blog. You can say learning jap is one of my priorities now. I don't really go and learn it, but I pick up phrases here and there... Tests were quite hectic, as in they came right after the other. But I'm so glad they're over --- at least for now. Tomorrow's a holiday--> Vesak DAy! Happy VEsak Day to those who celebrate it! :)
I decided to blog after reading this forwarded mail:
It's thought provoking, but maybe some of you have came upon it before... =D
If you woke up this morning with more health than illness, you are more blessed than the million who won't survive the week.
If you have never experienced the danger of battle, the loneliness of imprisonment, the agony of torture or the pangs of starvation, you are ahead of 20 million people around the world.
If you attend a church meeting without fear of harassment, arrest, torture, or death, you are more blessed than almost three billion people in the world.
If you have food in your refrigerator, clothes on your back, a roof over your head and a place to sleep, you are richer than 75% of this world.
If you have money in the bank, in your wallet, and spare change in a dish someplace, you are among the top 8% of the world's wealthy.
If your parents are still married and alive, you are very rare, especially in the United States.
If you hold up your head with a smile on your face and are truly thankful, you are blessed because the majority can, but most do not.
If you can hold someone's hand, hug them or even touch them on the shoulder, you are blessed because you can offer God's healing touch.
If you can read this message, you are more blessed than over two billion people in the world that cannot read anything at all.
You are so blessed in ways you may never even know.

Though I may not be a Christian, I do feel that people can comfort each other by showing care through physical contact. I guess it's innate, to want to cuddle someone, pat someone on the shoulder when you see someone sad. That's what people do in prehistoric times. I feel that it's the development of language that sorta puts up a barrier between people?
There was once when I wanted to blog badly in GP lesson recently. We were learning abt terrorism. Heck! It's devastating to learn abt it, somehow. I cried in almost every video we watched. The first was a documentary about the Munich Olympic Games in 1972. The innocent Israels who lost their lives and of cuz, the families of those who perished. Eeeek... I'm having goosebumps now and that sort of intense feelings evoked as I watched it is coming back.
We watched a documentary about Kofi Annan too and there mentioned the Rwanda conflict in 1984(if i'm not wrong). That was heart-breaking. Uh, we watched this documentary about Camp David too. There was one on the history of terrorism too and that was pretty thought-provoking.
Alright, i better not bore everyone to tears now. Just wanna share something about what I learn in school. I just can't help feeling that I really wanna shut out every single thing that reeks of sorrow or sadness. Helplessness... Feelings that were stirred up that were intense would just die off again. And I can do nothing.
Maybe there's something I can do. But do I really wanna give everything up just to do them? Forget it...
