{ Happy Birthday to Rachel! Though it was the day before yesterday, i din really haf time to post this, u know? m_m }
Happy Birthday to Rachel! You're 17!!! I really had fun yesterday, all thanks to ya ha. All right, starting from the morn of 3/3/05 (Thu), me and Tyris rushed like the wind (i'm so lame) towards our beloved homes and houses (I’m full of shit) from the chalet in Pasir Ris cos we had to meet up l8r to celebrate Rachel's birthday in town. And so, rush rush rush, we sorta made it to Palm Beach to get our pay, I got a miserly $110 cos I din work for the 1st 2 weeks of Feb, but nvm, at least I got some money, and den sorta rush and rush to Taka to Seoul Garden in time for the lunch period hee hee.
At Seoul Garden Takashimaya... we ate like pigs... Well, mostly Synn and Eve, me and Tyris not included. Cos we were waiting for the birthday gal and Venis to come and the guys, but we ate first all the same. 4 pple ate like 40 pple, haha, the plates were overwhelming. Well, I was exaggerating, cos thr were 2 Chinese High boys who ate a lot too. It was so hilarious as I saw them zoom past our table, carrying bows of ice cream and dessert and whatever u haf thr. Okay, as I was saying, it's not that bad, juz that we seemed to occupy the table space with lotsa plates haha... Den we got bloated. I looked as if I was pregnant, Synn actually said we both looked like "unwed mothers" (wei hun ma ma), which was pretty amusing. Bla bla bla. Until Rachel and Venis came. After eating, we sorta hung out Seoul Garden for some time. And I forgot which idiot started this game of putting these little brown things that they put in potted plants in shopping malls into someone else’s shirt! Ah ha, I seem to haf an inkling à tat idiot is Evelino… So fooled around a little, Synn even took off after Eve haha, that was really dumb! Okay, the shopping in Fox is memorable too haha. Taking neoprints in Heeren was delicious too! (dunno y I used delicious, guess it meant good haha… I haf a limited vocabulary, u see…)
Well well well, here comes this fun part ha. We boarded the train to go home. We ARE a ROWDY lot! All the laughing, horsing around is bound to irritate pple. And I haf 2 solid examples of pple glaring at us hah. One is a Malay and the other Chinese, both guys. I caught them staring at us frm time to time with murderous eyes, apparently. So I told Synn, she sorta passed the msg and all of us girls sitting in a row knew eventually. We laughed even louder as we saw how stupid their glares looked haha. They were really going to kill us. I was sure the Malay guy would go crazy if he din haf his music (he had on earphones) to help curb his overwhelming annoyance ha. And if the Chinese guy din haf the newspaper in front of him, daggers would definitely fly out of his eyes and hit us right in the middle of our forehead. Ah ha, I never fail to astonish myself with such wonderful imagination of the near future at that time!!! Well, we certainly had fun with that.
Another fun thing which I will always remember is: After we alighted the train, me and Evelyn had a dare for each other, which is to wear the black cowboy hat both of us bought for $3.60 each until we reach our very own doorstep haha. So we could sense that everybody was looking at us. But we din really care, cos we had a dare. Ah! It feels so great to be able to heck care glances thrown by pple around us. I still remember as I board the bus, the female bus-driver went “Woo” or sth like that ha. And I waved at Evelyn as my bus passed her (she was waiting for her bus with lotsa pple too even though it’s past midnight) with her own cowboy hat as if I really see cattle everyday and that I live on the ranches. It really seemed as if wearing a cowboy home while taking public transport to reach home was part of my daily life. Therefore, it wasnt a surprise that the pple ard her looked at me as if I ought to be in Woodbridge, the famous asylum in Singapore! Woo hoo! So thr, that happened on 3/3/05 Thu to 4/3/05 Fri. Fun, that’s all I can say. And la la la, lu lu lu, we took loads of pictures, I’ll post it up some other time. Haha ha. Hoho ho. Hehe he.
