Before we left for Nanyang Girls' High auditorium, this was how it's like at the centre in Yunnan Crescent:
The kids were left to fend for themselves since the teachers and me
(sometimes) were trying to get their hair and makeup done. ahha...
It was pretty horrendous. There were conflicts, throwing of toys,
running, shouting... My ma talks loud-er these days haha...
The upper left is Xin Huey(Xin Min's sister) and the other girl is Yuki
and finally me. They are in Malay costumes cos they'll be doing Malay
dance. The kids call me "Kyla Jie-jie" [Jie = elder sis] or "Teacher Alice's
daughter." Yet the teachers call me Grace. I'm fine with both but when
the children call me Kyla-Jiejie, I just feel like a totally different person,
of another personality. Pretty amazing!
The following pics are all taken at the Nanyang Girls' High auditorium, and I'm one of the backstage crew who looks after the kids, touching up their makeup for them and bla. Make sure no kids disappear. A few teachers even said "That's the start of our battle". It was just so hectic when the kids gotta come backstage and change to prepare for their next act haha.
It was a total frenzy but totaal funn!!!! I lurve it! I even tot about going for next year's concert but all the other teachers are sorta terrified of it aha... I agree, they put in lots of effort and they get nothing... Sigh... Maybe except praises for their wonderful props and beautiful performances...
Jerome's 1 of my faves. I practise favouritism cos I AM HUMAN! He
didn't wanna be camera-ed but he can't escape ha. I tried my best to
get shots of him! He acts as a warrior as well so he's got this "bun" on
top of his head. So cute! All those who's performing for the "Dumpling
Festival" will have a "bun" haha...
I manage to get another shot of him again. He's so damn cute!!!!
I think his fave food is Hello Panda! strawberry biscuits ha.
Hee hee! Russell. He's one of my new favourites. Look at those eyes!
One of the most beautiful pair of eyes I've ever seen! He has an elder
sis, Chloe at the same childcare centre and I muz say I dunno till Ma
told me ytd! They have a cousin called Phoebe who's 3 yrs old so she's
not in this yr's concert cos she's too young and it's like their family
blood is BIG DISH-LIKE EYES!
p.s. Jerome and Russell are in Ma's class too. Nursery kids of 4 yrs old.
I was supposed to apply lippy for the boys and I didn't knew it was so tough. They either pursed their lips too much or opened their mouths too wide til they've got no lips ahha... Hence, Russell ended up in this position.
The two grey things are my legs and I started tickling him. He started "crawling" his fingers up from my toes. Whahhaa. Shocked me right there! After a few times, I couldn't take it anymore and started running away from them. Another girl En Xing joined him and they stopped only when one of the teachers helped me by asking them what they were doing aha... I lurve to play with them though! :DDDDDD

Argh! Blogger is making me mad again! It refuses to post any more pics. I've got 4 left, but well I'll leave it for next time. I'm done with blogging for now. Gotta start preparing to go to Chinatown for my weekly dance lesson again. Although my As are starting next Thu, I've still decided to go and some ppl might say feel that it's not the right way to behave. But I couldn't care less...

It muz be the stress and boredom of studying at home and being cooped up at home for 4 days in a row. Very "men"[2]. I keep feeling that I'm not making any progress cos it's just so slow... Argh, A levels are coming next week!
And Goong is indeed overrated aha... [no offense to hardcore Goong fans out there. : ]
Alright, I better not stress myself out and continue the posting o pics of cute kids to cheer everyone up and indulge yourself in simple joy! ARgh! Here comeS! I even imagine how it's like if I were to be a childcare teacher for the rest of my life if I flunk my 'A' levels. I just can't bear to leave the kids and look forward to seeing them again but my ma told me to, "bug off". She said it in mandarin aha...
But then again, I mustn't think of failing when I haven even taken the exams. Get your act together, Gracie! Kylalalalaaala....

told me she can't stand dancing for too long and asks if she can study
when they rehearsed for too long aha...
Dawn, Xin Min[4 yr olds] and me. Dawn has soft, beautiful, curly hair.
She's kinda quiet though she's obedient and behaves herself. Xin Min
is totally moody and temperamental. My ma denies that she practises
favouritism towards her but everyone can see that she does. Can't deny
it, I'm a lil' jealous. T_T
Hee hee, I took this pic when the children were preparing to take
their naps. Me and Jasper. I think he's 2 or 3 yrs old. Real small.
Jolene[Jojo], Me, Valerie [4 yr olds too]. All the 4 yrs old[nursery] kids
are my Ma's charge. My ma says Jojo smells really nice ahha... I've seen
her mother, pretty hot lady! [hope she doesn't see this ever] Valerie is
just this small, dainty little girl who's kinda quiet too. But, it's cos I haven
been with them for too long la haha...
Valerie, Me, Jojo, Dawn. Wow, I managed to squeeze all of them
in. I hope I can bring all of them home one day. Argh! So sweet!
I'll show you all more of the boys during the concert later...
Well, maybe this feels like I spoil the whole kiddy feel and mood! But,
this is me before going there and trying to look like a kid myself. Yeah!

I'm gonna be really quick with this for now. DXO is a pretty lousy club, in my opinion. Everyone's entitled to their own opinions what... The best thing was dancing so much and losing so many calories and of cuz hanging out with dear frens like Evelyn, Shuhui, Min(the rabbit), Rachel, Tatsuki, Wei Xiang(the rabbit's bf) and dear Tyris. Wahahah...
I'm only looking forward to clubbing in better and "funner" clubs in future! With different ppl of cuz, cos diff ppl do diff things. MOS is still the best for me up till now. It's so full of life, but it's crowded. That means crowded means good and bad haha...
I'm so in lurve with "Promiscuous Girl" by Nelly Furtado. Couldn't help but dance a lil as Eve and I were leaving sch and Yvonne saw me from the canteen ahha. When Nazi turned around, I stopped. Cheeky me, right? ahhaha... Whatever that means...
Eve and I are lunch partners and Eve, don't blame me for posting the following pic ahha. I went ot nightlife.sg and it was really there. Hey all! This photographer asked if he could take our picture and we obliged haha. He said it'll be on nightlife.sg and I went and d/led it haha... The flash was blinding la! I always wondered where those pics of ppl who went to the club came from. Now I know!

It's a frenzy... My ma was helping the kids bathe so they're
undressing themselves. This is the class my Ma's in charge
of. It's a nursery class. (4 yrs old, so cute) Wooohh... ah....
This little one beside me is Wayne. I hope I look kiddish
enough to look alright with them in the pic haa...

ANd this friday(my Ma said I was "shen jing bing" = mental problem when I told her it's the most anticipated event in my life for this week) I'm making my way to Nanyang Girls' High for her annual concert's rehearsal to help out. I just lurve being there though it's really hectic and crazy when the kids are restless ahaha...
P.S. I really enjoy dancing to lOUDY-loud-LOUD music!!! I'll try a jazz or rock pub with Xiaoxia in future ahha. Of cuz, other peeps too la... Flamezz...
I really gotta get to studying. But I'm so lazy and I keep procrastinating so when ytd was supposed to be filled with studying, I ended up revamping(i hope i'm right with using this word) my top(i wore it to the club) that I cut myself. It fits better now and I don't look like a pufferfish when I wear it ahha... I'll take a pic soon and it looks better when worn by someone, especially the owner of the top. Hee...

Upon reaching home today, I realized that such an action is unkind and mean. I mustn't do it THAT often. Laughing and joking at times are oke... As long as I have no bad intentions to hurt anyone.
That said, I still mustn't be rude, especially to my Ah Gong. Though he may never ever read this, and he's watching TV(as usual), I'm still gonna say "Sorry, Ah Gong"...
Enough said, moving on... Saturday is gonna be such a random day, don't ya agree? [To all who know what that means]
Last Sat(7/10/06) was so random that I can't help but sorta fall in lurve with it! wahhaha... STarting with the "easy money", I walked around aimlessly(sorta) with Min Rabbit and that was the first time ever. We went to Bugis, then Arab Street and I bought a piece of cloth for the elongation of my damn mini black skirt that I've worn only once about 2 yrs ago... It costed a bloody $31.90, definitely one of my very dear(means expensive in this context) pieces of clothing I personally own.
I bought that piece of cloth cos it was for SALE! $1.50 for 1 metre. Wahaha... Of cuz, being an informed buyer, (I dun wanna use the word consumer cos I'd be filled with guilt) I checked out prices in other stores first. Convinced that it's the cheapest bargain I could possibly get in those few stores I went to, I bought it with the idea of trying to feel how a first-time cloth-buyer would feel.
I very much abhor the idea of leaving my dear black skirt in my closet - letting it rot when particles settle on it. Thank goodness it's not white! (I just read something online about why clothings, especially white, when left in drawers for too long have yellow patches.)
The other top I just cut ytd(Sunday) was white. I've never ever worn it and I'm so sad to realize that it has yellow patches cos I just leave it lying in places unknown for a loong, loooong time... That's why I'm scouting online for remedies to solve the problem. I've read that white vinegar and cold water helps.
I gotta be an enthusisatic go-getter more often and get down to doing it instead of procrastinating[limiting beliefs] more often than I shd. Well, even after saying that, I just don't feel like doing it. I live in a world that's full of contradictions. What about yours?

Of cuz, thanks Eve, Shuhui, and Pam for making my days light up!!![the colour of fire haha]

I've been spending consecutive weekends at my uncle's place for dinner. Although that house gets really noisy bcos of all the ppl and I'm frustrated, I did have fun playing with the kids.
I went to help my mama at her kindergarden(I'm gonna post the children's day party's pics up too!)for her concert, like thinking of dance steps haha... So funny, my mama and her colleague danced tgt. Too bad I didn't take any pics since I was leading them ahha...
